Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all purchases of live poultry (chickens) from Manor Poultry. By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Orders & Payment

  • All orders must be paid for in full at the time of purchase, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We accept cash or UK bank transfers only. No other payment methods are available.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.
     

2. Collection & Delivery

  • Customers are responsible for collecting chickens at the agreed time, or ensuring someone is available to receive delivery.

  • If delivery is arranged, we will take all reasonable steps to ensure safe transportation, but we are not responsible for delays or issues caused by couriers or third parties.
     

3. Health & Welfare

  • All chickens are sold in good health to the best of our knowledge at the time of sale.

  • Customers are responsible for providing appropriate housing, feed, water, and care immediately after purchase.

  • We cannot guarantee the future health, lifespan, or egg production of any bird, as this depends on care and environmental factors outside of our control.
     

4. Sexing & Breed Accuracy

  • While every effort is made to ensure the correct breed and sex of chickens, mistakes can occasionally occur (especially with young birds).

  • In the event of an error, our 2-Week Return Policy applies (replacement or refund as outlined).
     

5. Returns & Refunds

  • Returns are only accepted under our 2-Week Return Policy.

  • We do not accept returns for birds that have been neglected, injured, or become unwell due to conditions after leaving our premises.
     

6. Liability

  • We are not liable for any illness, injury, loss, or damage that occurs after the chickens have left our care.

  • Customers accept full responsibility for the welfare of the birds once collected or delivered.
     

7. Animal Welfare

  • We reserve the right to refuse sale if we believe the animals will not be cared for appropriately.

  • Customers must comply with all relevant UK animal welfare laws and regulations, including the Animal Welfare Act 2006.
     

8. Email Marketing & Data Protection

  • By providing your email address when placing an order or making an enquiry, you consent to receiving transactional emails relating to your purchase or order updates.

  • With your consent, we may also send occasional marketing emails containing offers, updates, and information from Manor Poultry.

  • You can withdraw your consent or unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in our emails or by contacting us directly.

  • We will never sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

  • All personal data is handled in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
     

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
